Committee Meetings

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Throughout the season coaches and volunteers meet at Llanbradach Social Club on the first Tuesday of the month at 8pm. This is an excellent opportunity to find out what is happening with the club behind the scenes and to put forward any ideas you may have. All new faces welcome – please come along and support the club. For the date of the first meeting for the new season, please check with your coach or Stephanie.

The annual exchange event with our friends in Lannion will see our Under 16 and Under 14 teams visit A.S.S.L this July. Regular meetings will take place now that we are getting closer. Any support from parents friends & family will be appreciated.

Next meeting for the French Trip – TBC

Latest News: Senior Youth side

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

We are pleased to announce that from September 2009, we are hopeful that the Football Association of Wales will give permission for us to run a Senior Youth side; our Under 16s will then be able to continue playing football in the village.

We have a number of girls playing for our younger teams; unfortunately once the team has to register with the League (Under 12s and up); we are no longer able to play mixed teams. If anyone is interested in starting up a girls side, please contact Stephanie.

Cwm Las Pitch

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

We are currently in negotiations with Caerphilly County Borough Council over our proposal to site the portakabins acquired last year at Cwm Las to use as our home ground. The Club has appointed a solicitor to act on our behalf in our negotiations with CCBC to secure the lease on the land. We will keep you informed of developments. We anticipate that acquiring a home base will move the club forward and will enable us to further develop football in the village to benefit all our children.

2009-2010 Registration

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

A player registration session will be held on Saturday 12 September from 3.00 – 7.00pm in Llanbradach Community Centre. All players wishing to register with the Club for the 2009-10 season should attend this session. Subscriptions for the coming season will remain unchanged at £60.00 per player.

Some good news for families with more than two children playing – pay for two children (must be your own!) and get a third free!

We will require a registration fee of £20 per player on registering with the club. Subscriptions of £2 per week will be collected on a weekly basis from the middle of September. Each team will have a designated contact who will keep a register of players training each week and the subscriptions paid.

We rely on subscriptions to pay for payment of pitch fees, winter training, referee fees, trophies and essential equipment. All fees for the 2009-10 season must be paid by 1st March 2010. If subscriptions are not received, then we will unfortunately have to enforce the policy of no fee, no play.

Subscription fees are needed to ensure that training and matches can take place for all age groups. The fees are not used for non-regular activities such as tours, football kits, etc, this is sought from local grants, sponsorship, fundraising events and not directly from Club funds.

If you are finding it difficult to pay the subscription fees, please speak to your coach or one of the management committee. We will help in any way we can.

Another Fabulous Season for Llanbradach Junior FC!

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

All teams registered in the Taff-Ely and Rhymney Valley League had a very good season. Congratulations to all players and coaches for their excellent efforts this year. Well done to the Under 16s for finishing second.

Our younger players have also had an excellent season and are playing superb football – our Under 8s were virtually unbeaten all year.

Good luck to all for next season.
